How to find the Gastein Heilstollen

By car or by bus
From Salzburg approx. 1 hour by car. Take the A10 Tauern motorway southbound as far as Bischofshofen, then highway B 311 to Lend, followed by highway B 167 to Gastein Valley.
From Innsbruck approx. 3 hours by car. Take the A12 Inntal motorway as far as Wörgl, highway B 312 to Lofer, highway B 311 (via Zell am See) as far as Lend, and from there highway B 167 to Gastein Valley.
From the south, drive via Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Mallnitz, from where the motorail service will bring you to Gastein Valley.
By air
The nearest airports are Salzburg (ca. 100 km) and Munich (ca. 230 km). Airport transfers are available upon request.
By train
Euro, Intercity, and express trains stop at the Bad Gastein railway station. There are always taxi and bus connections to the individual communities. The nearest motorail loading stations are located in Schwarzach St. Veit im Pongau, and Bischofshofen. Taxi service is available for luggage transfers.
